REVIEWS

******
Zweit bestes Album.

Rockt unglaublich gut.

****
Post-Grunge made in Down Under.

Quite a good grunge album. UK#49.

Honestly for an album that endures as popular as this one, it's really underwhelming. I mean, I get why it can be someone's favourite Silverchair album, but in that case why not listen to a band from the era who actually had songwriting chops, and realise how flat this can come across.

It just seems so utterly unfair for Silverchair that no matter how far they came in the ensuing years, this still appears to be held as their crowning statement, seemingly still running off its initial hype. It's just so mindbogglingly average that I don't understand it. I'd rather listen to pretty much any other Silverchair album over this one. 2.9
