* Just awful. I can't figure out which is worse, the singing or the 'rapping'. He has a very strange voice. No thank you.

When I watch the video it's like I'm watching something else. The voice and the face and 'dance' don't match. Strangely, it makes you keep watching. Still a 1 for me though.

I take it Spotify is helping this kind of crap chart in NZ about now? **** As I write this, there are 2 songs in the Billboard top 10 about partying, having a good time, forgetting your troubles etc, there's 1 song about being on the verge of whiling, and the other 7 are basically about love. When I say love though, there's not a lot more to it than the intimate side of that (it is after all, still Fifty Shades... season).

What might come off as a surprise is that the one that explicitly states its love as anything more than intimacy is the Vine-core trap rap song about dealing drugs. Physique, intimacy, apart from one throwaway line, not even touched on. Fetty loves his trap queen for the mutual hustle and compliments her for it, also note the way he uses the word 'we', a Nice Guy could take a hint on it.

Also I dunno it's just really catchy y'know. 4.1 Last edited: 24.02.2016 06:46
**** Well, I don't mind it surprisingly, but I'm not going to rate it high because I wouldn't really consider it a "good" song on its merits.

I feel my rating of this song could really go either way if it becomes a hit here.

2.75*

EDIT: I grew to like this one quite a bit for some reason I cannot explain.

Ergo, GUILTY PLEASURE OF 2015 for me then.

2.75* -> 4* Last edited: 27.06.2015 17:17
** The sound is kind of ok but the lyrics are too over the place for me. My interest is lost quickly with each listen; looking to get an expressway out of that urban neighbourhood. 2.3*

EDIT: There's too much of this crap in the charts lately. Do the gram, go to the slam. 2* Last edited: 24.01.2016 00:59
**** Obwohl es ein schlechtes Zeichen ist, wenn ein Rap-Song nur Nr. 1 in den USA ist und sonst nirgends chartet und ich nicht mal ein Fan des Genres bin, finde ich den Song sogar noch hörbar. Knappe 4.
