**** Perhaps the closest thing to a ballad Alison will ever release? Certainly weird to put Alison and ballad in the same sentence but I commend her for trying something a bit different. This more downtempto track works really well. Of course it's not totally a ballad but it's much less hectic and in your face with the beats than other tracks. The lyrics and more conventional structure also make it sound kinda like a ballad.

The production is very strong, love the inclusion of the organ especially. Such a good drop too. The vocals here are very enjoyable and I love the dual vocal aspect. Almost perfect with the sharing of the vocals, the male vocals are joined by Alison's at just the right moment. The moment when Alison takes singing takes it to the next level for me. My favourite of the non-singles from the album, should've released it as a single instead of "Run" or "Take It To Reality". |
