Ich hätte sie zwar lieber einmal live gesehen, aber ich war damals grausam stolz, dass ich Jahre vor Erscheinen dieses Albums auf B3 einen Live-Mitschnitt aufnehmen konnte. War fast enttäuscht, als die Live-CD rauskam... | | *****

Ich frage mich, ob alle die hier kritisieren und von billig reden, diese CD auch haben - oder wenigstens gehört haben?!?<br>Hier gibt es eine Greatest Hits Show aus der 77er Australien Tour (Bilder daraus im Abba Film) und dem legendären Wembley Konzert 1979 (2004 auf DVD veröffentlicht).<br>Freilich, 1986, 3 Jahre nach dem Aus hat sich für diese Release kaum wer interessiert (änderte sich ja nach 1992 und Abba Gold).<br>Ich hab sie Live gesehen (1980) - dafür werde ich noch heute bewundert. Aber warum das Album so spät erschien, ist mir ein Rätsel..

Gilt als eines ihrer schwächsten Alben, wahrscheinlich weil man sich fragt, wozu ein Live-Album, wenn man ohnehin die ultimativen Studio-Versionen hat. Besonders aufregend ist die Vö wirklich nicht. | | *****
Ich finde es toll, dass es dieses Album gibt. Man kennt den Studisound zur genüge. "Steril" ist leider der richtige Ausdruck für die Klangqualität, reisst aber trotdem mit. Leider ist der, meiner Meinung nach ,beste Live-act nicht dabei: Summer Night City (dafür auf der DVD "ABBA in concert") | | *****

Für eine so grandiose Band, wie ABBA eine war, ist dies eine ziemlich schwache Zusammenstellung einiger Live-Songs. Und weil es eine Zusammenstellung ist, kommt überhaupt kein Live-Feeling auf. Bei "Fernando" zum Beispiel sind die Stimmen, die mit dem Publikum das gemeinsame Singen verabreden (in ABBA-The Movie zu sehen) ganz billig herausgeschnitten worden, warum nur? | | ******

Naja, wirklich toll fand ich die Zusammenstelung nie, war mir immer zu grausig steril gemixt, Live-Flair kam da keines auf
