Das am 14.10.1977 als Single A-Seite veröffentlichte „Rockwrok“ erinnert an frühe Stücke von Roxy Music wie z.B. „Virginia Plain“, „Pyjamarama“ oder „Street Life“, ohne allerdings wie eine Kopie zu klingen.

Mit diesem Song klingt die Gruppe noch eher wie andere (eher unbekanntere) Punk-Acts aus der Zeit. Kein Wunder, damit traf man den Nerv der Zeit. Ansonsten machte Ultravox doch eher ihre eigene Sache.

What a magnificent disgrace!!
Energischer war Punk nie, direkter und ohrwurmiger wurde die Ideologie der freien Liebe niemals propagiert. Ein zeitlos rockwrokender Kracher dieser sonst eher schläfrigen Band.
